Wayanad, described without a brochure
The usual road leaves Kozhikode on NH 766, passes Kunnamangalam, climbs at Thamarassery and comes down toward Kalpetta. A day is enough for one main stop and the drive. Edakkal, Pookode or a single viewpoint is a choice. Doing all of them and being home for dinner is how people end up rushed and carsick. Pick one.

Shorter days that are still a tour
Kappad is the beach north of Kozhikode associated with Vasco da Gama’s landing. Beypore is the old port to the south, still known for wooden boats. Thusharagiri is a waterfall day in the hills east of the city, a better fit than Wayanad if you are starting late. None of these needs a slogan. They need a start time and a return time.

Do you sell a Wayanad package with a price?
No. We arrange a cab and agree the fare for the hours and the stops you want. Entry tickets and hotel rooms are paid to those places.
Can you suggest an order of stops?
Yes. Tell us what you most want to see and when you must be back. We will say if the day is too full.
Is Wayanad a good idea in heavy rain?
The ghat is slower and the views disappear. If the forecast is poor, a coastal day is often the kinder plan. We will say so rather than sell the hill.
Do you provide a guide who talks at each stop?
The driver knows the road. A separate guide is not part of the cab. If you want one, ask and we will say whether we can help you find one. We will not pretend every driver is a historian.
