Kunnamangalam is the town. The gate is the stop
Do not stop the message at Kunnamangalam. Say IIM Kozhikode main gate. The campus is on two hillocks, and a guest-house or programme office may not be the first turn inside the gate. If your host named a gate, pass that on.
Another page on the institute site describes the airport ride as about 32 km and the railway ride as about 18 km. Treat both pairs as “a short ride from the station, a longer one from Karipur”, and ask us for the fare on the day. We will not pretend the two pages are the same number.
Interviews, convocations, and the ghat road
Admission days fill the road. Book the night before and add a buffer. If you are continuing to Wayanad the same day, IIM is on the way to Thamarassery. Say so, and the fare can include the stop instead of a second negotiation on the hill.

Yes. Send the flight time the evening before. The airport is at Karipur, so this is a cross-city trip. The fare is agreed then, not at the kerb.
Is CWRDM the same campus?
No. CWRDM is also at Kunnamangalam, PIN 673571, but it is a separate research centre. Name the one you want.
