Bekal from Kozhikode
Bekal Fort is on the coast in Kasaragod district, well north of Kannur. The ride is NH 66. About 180 km and about 4 to 4.5 hours is the approximate one-way drive from Kozhikode. A day is possible if you leave early and only want the fort. An overnight is the version with time to walk.

No. About 4 to 4.5 hours each way. It is a long day or an overnight.
Can we add Muzhappilangad?
Only if you say which place matters more. Kannur’s beach is on the way, and both stops make a late return. Bekal alone is the cleaner day.
