Munnar weekend from Kozhikode
Munnar is the tea-hill weekend to the south-east, not a day trip and not the same road as Kodaikanal or Ooty. About 270 km and about 7 hours is the approximate drive from Kozhikode.

Suggested route and stops
Leave campus toward the south-east, not toward Wayanad. The useful order is Malappuram, Perinthalmanna, Mannarkkad, Adimali, Munnar. Top Station is a long extra and does not fit if you also need to be back on the second evening.
This is a different weekend from Kodaikanal. Pick one. A room is not part of the cab. Entry at Mattupetty, if the gate is charging that day, is paid there.

Questions people ask
Can we do Munnar and Kodaikanal in one weekend?
No. They are different roads and each is already about 7 hours from Kozhikode. Choose one.
Is a Friday evening start realistic?
Only if the group can reach Munnar late and is honest about that. A morning start is the version that arrives in daylight. Say which you mean.
Is the from-fare the final student fare?
No. Hours, the gate and any waiting can change it. Call or WhatsApp and it is agreed before the cab moves.
