Kannur and Muzhappilangad from Kozhikode
Kannur is the coastal day north of Kozhikode. Muzhappilangad is the long beach just north of the town. About 90 km and about 2 to 2.5 hours on NH 66 gets a group there in the morning. The cab stops at the beach. Driving on the sand is not part of this trip.

From campus, join NH 66 and go north. Muzhappilangad first is the simpler order if the beach is the point. Payyambalam, in Kannur town, is the second stop only if you still have the afternoon. Bekal is much further and turns this into a different day.
