Thusharagiri Falls from Kozhikode
Thusharagiri is a waterfall day in the hills east of Kozhikode, nearer than Wayanad. Kerala Tourism places it about 50 km from the city. The cab goes to the visitor area. The upper falls are a walk.

Suggested route and stops
Leave campus for NH 766, climb toward Thamarassery, then take the road to Kodenchery and the falls. From IIM you are already on the Wayanad road. From NIT, join it further along. From the medical college, the city comes first.
Kerala Tourism names three falls reached on foot: Erattumukku, Mazhavil Chattom and Thumbi Thullum Para. Wear shoes you can get wet. We are not a trek guide. The cab waits where you agree, and you walk.
Agree a return time. A noon start is tight if the whole group also wants the upper falls and a class in the evening.

Is Thusharagiri in Wayanad?
No. It is in Kozhikode district, near Kodenchery, off the road toward Thamarassery. Wayanad is the longer trip over the ghat.
Will the cab go to the top of the falls?
The cab stops at the visitor area. The falls Kerala Tourism describes further in are reached by walking. Say how long you want the cab to wait.
