Ooty is a weekend from Kozhikode, not a day trip. The usual road goes through Wayanad and then the ghat at Gudalur. About 200 km and about 6 hours is the approximate drive. A same-day return is mostly the road.

You would spend about 6 hours each way. That is a driving day, not a visit. This package is a weekend.
