Say a range you can live with. We will not answer with a fake “rooms from” figure. If a place is outside what you named, we will say so. Affordable is your ceiling, not a marketing word we attach to every lodge in Kozhikode.
Ask the hotel, or ask us to ask: how far is the walk to the ward or the campus gate, what time is check-in, is there a room for the number of people, and can a cab stop at the door at night.
Area first, hotel second
A beach stay is a poor fit if you are visiting a ward at dawn on Mavoor Road. A lodge at Medical College Junction is a poor fit if you wanted the sea. NIT guests usually want Chathamangalam or a city hotel plus a cab, not a guess. Tell us the morning’s first appointment. The area follows from that.
